@moshidon

On the Amiga computers we had a saying without MUI {the Magic 🪄 User Interface a fantastic UI for gadgets and widgets on the Amiga} MUI program xxx would not exist

The same rule applies here

Without you Moshidon would not exist

So instead of just boosting and liking the post, I'm sending you Universal Love 💕 and Universal Energy and thanking you for the amount of work that you put in to Moshidon

Switched to a minimalist launcher on my GrapheneOS phone, and I LOVE IT. I also set my phone to grayscale, which is another huge improvement.

Since I recently broke my screen protector anyway, I've ordered a matte replacement, which will calm down the bright shininess of the phone even more.

I'm starting to get a handle on how to have one of these smartphone things and still lead a rich life, full of choice and glorious privacy.

Working to deGoogle and deApple myself by the end of the year. Mostly involves buying a Fairphone running Murena's /e/OS, building a Linux desktop machine, and replacing apps/services, but the exercise of mapping all of this out alone is already proving to be fun, enlightening, and liberating.

I tried installing skylight.social/ (short form video app that uses the AT Protocol) on my “degoogled” GrapheneOS phone just to see what it's like, and it immediately demanded that I install Google Play services in order to use it

It's possible to sandbox them on Graphene OS and I do have a user account with them for my banking app, but I'm really not interested in using a social app that demands them
