Wintered Branches – I dipped into what I now can call the "35mm archives" and found this negative. I keep okay notes, so this photograph was captured between November 12 and December 20 in 2023. It's nice to have some distance and let things simmer, I recall thinking this wasn't anything special, but have changed my mind.

A black and white analogue photograph of tree branches with snow settled peacefully and resting on top. There is a tight focus, the background is blurry. The film is rated 400 ISO, therefore there is a healthy amount of grain.

I recently saw a tourism ad from #Quebec #Canada that nearly made me cry. A visitor is checking in at a hotel. When the clerk asks where he’s traveling from, he looks ashamed and whispers “I’m American”. The clerk presses a button under the desk, which I initially thought was a panic button. Instead it unlocks a panel allowing her to come out from behind the desk, and she gives the guy a big hug. I nearly lost it. I wish I could move to Canada. This meant a lot to me.❤️

TACO just 'woke' up and learned about a Canadian 3% revenue tax on tech giants, that was passed a year ago and is going into effect Monday. So now he is ending all trade negotiations with Canada and is threatening to increase import tariffs even more on Canada.

[Once again, TACO thinks the solution to his every problem
is to have a 'Hissy Fit'.]
