Una cosa es saber que no juegas en la liga de lo comercial y otra dar la impresión de que tenías tres discos preparados y con el ansía has compactado el material.Yo no entiendo la lógica de Godspeed. ¿Es una actitud punk? Mmm... Lo que percibo es arrojo, ganas de hacer, de experimentar, energía mal focalizada. Poco asesoramiento. El indie, el punk, el trash, la serie B, el camp, como la anarquía, tienen sus reglas. Si no, es masturbación.Pista a pista, descartando tracks, es como encontramos un buen EP, un Godslow.Qué genial sería haber introducido el disco con Serotonin Moonbeams un tema housero con su teclado, sus campanitas/chiflidos y vocals de deje retro muy Disclosure. Seguiría Brand New, con los mismos aciertos pero mejor cantada, con swing negro y un dj scratching glorioso. Luego Count On Me cuya ascendencia constante termina en un final enérgico.Para romper la secuencia metería ahora el dúo con Kylie. Ya llega mi favorita, Secretariat: resume o debería resumir Godspeed, guarda el vigor, el concepto y el punto vertebral de la producción. Love it. Continuaría con el pelotazo Mercy, el otro Edge Of Saturday Night pero sin diva pop y conservaría la final Happier.Este es mi Godspeed. También el de Marea Stamper aunque se empeñe en diluirlo. Así es su fiesta.
