Wasn't sure I was going to find a song for this Tune Tuesday's theme of You Can't Touch This, where the original song is better than any covers.
Then I remembered one in the shower. I can think of a couple cool covers of the song, but none match up to the OG.

The Beastie Boys perform "No sleep till Brooklyn", and Run-DMC have "It's tricky".
Neither are served by the Montreux presentation: it's an echoey chamber, great for guitar-based music, but horrid for rap and hip-hop.
Both bands resort to quick movement, bouncing all over the stage like Tigger. Run-DMC manage to get some of the song's melody through the cruft, the Beastie Boys are barely watchable.
