Things they don't tell you about being #trans 371:

It's a lot of waiting. And waiting sucks.

You're waiting for your first appointment, waiting to start #HRT, waiting for HRT to start working, waiting for hair to grow, waiting for surgeries, waiting for recovery, waiting for hair removal to work, waiting for insurance, waiting, waiting, waiting.

For me, voice work was my antidote to waiting. It was something I could do when I was otherwise wildly frustrated with the slow pace. It was one of the few things in this process that truly felt like it was in my control.

But now? I my voice. Yeah, I'm going to keep working on it as part of recovery. But right now it's sounds amazing and it's only getting better.

So, I mean, success to be sure. But what now? What can I hyperfixate on for the 4 months and 5 days?

I had a #dream last night where I invented a new #ttrpg based on the old #tv show "Sliders" where the characters went to alternate versions of the world, but to blend in they had holo-projectors to change their bodies, and it was very important that this game mechanic lean heavily into lived #trans real world experience, which I don't have as a cis-het game designer. But it was a very cool dream, and role playing game system.

For the first time in like, ever, I've been able to keep green friends alive and healthy.

I feel really sorry for #Trans people living in the #USA! The difference between #TRUMP v1 and Trump V2 isn't himself. It's who he represents: the bourgeoisie (the ones in power), and a part of the MAGA base (I wouldn't be surprised if Trump sees #MAGA as a necessary evil to stay relevant in the media).
