Some time ago i bought a box of random old photographic stuff. In there was this pack of Forte paper from the 70s. To my amazement it is still usable to a decent degree as you can see on the test print.
From a semi-recent #darkroom session

Saint John of Nepomuk seen through the little window of a small wooden chapel somewhere in Silesia, in the south of Poland.
Next we tried a #contactprint with one of my son's 6x6cm negs from his Yashica. First try was pretty dark, but there's a picture all right.

First #Darkroom attempt last night, trying to make contact prints. As you can see, somewhat disappointing results.
In one of these, as a final test, I skipped the negative, and just turned on the lights, and let the paper sit there for a minute. Still nothing.
I mixed up and stored the chemicals with some really old containers I found in my dad's old darkroom stuff. So my best guess is that there was residue that skunked the developer.
I'll try some more experiments tonight with all new and clean equipment.
