She didn't spot that the switchover from blue EU immigrants and red non-EU immigrants (mostly Asian) happened in 2016–20.
Does anyone recall what was happening in the #UK in 2016–20? 
Brexiters now complaining about the 'small boats' immigration 'problem' have (wilfully?) forgotten that when we were in the EU this wasn't a problem because the Dublin Convention meant we had automatic returns agreements with all EU members for failed asylum seekers; which acted as the very 'deterrent' the Right are now demanding.
Brexiters are clamouring to solve a 'problem' that their actions actually created...
That said we should be acting better towards asylum seekers anyway!
A trans woman was arrested in Erbil,
suffered things I can't say, and deported to Syria where she was jailed and suffered more horrors.
We need 2500 EUR to get her to safety.

The data on migration in the UK shows a dramatically different picture form the dominant narrative presented by the Right (and reacted to by the Govt.).... but why ket facts get in the way of political posturing?
The largest group of migrants are students who are (practically) supporting the provision of university education in this country through their international fees....

I see some confusion about moderation and appviews.
Of course switching your appview wont make you exempt from moderation on other appviews. This isnt different from fedi — if my instance (funtimes.masto) blocks yours (nastytro.lls), I can't view your posts no matter what you do.
Now, if I switch instances, (or in atproto's case, appviews), then I can see your posts again.
The only difference is that switching appviews on atproto is as easy as logging out of the old one (optional) and logging into the new one.
The only sad part is virtually everyone uses api.bsky.app/bsky.social, unlike fedi which has many, many instances. At the very least self-hosted PDSes aren't that uncommon these days
