And taking for to rest I lay among the sweet herbs, and looking up at the sky as the gentle sound of the waters played upon my senses, I fell into a reverie
2/
And it seemed that the Earth and the heavens melted away, like clouds gradually dissolving to reveal a pure clear sky, radiant as a bright morning
3/
And this too dissolved, the light becoming so bright that it it was as it were a bright black, and in its centre an image formed, a microdot within that bright void, of intense crystalline
4/
Which grew until it resolved itself into a wonderful prismatic diamond, filling my vision
A teardrop, upon a pure, snow-white lotus flower cushion
Emitting rainbow lights of joy, inexpressible joy
5/
And my ears were filled with the sound of sweet music, beautiful beyond words, and the music was my joy
And the diamond was my soul
And the diamond was my mother and my father,
And the diamond was my family and friends
All, everyone I ever met through all my time on Earth
6/
And I saw then that the diamond was eternal, existing outside of time,
And we are all somehow part of it
And we are all somehow reflections of it
And it is somehow pure Life, and we are all it’s forms
A playful, loving life-energy, experiencing itself eternally
7/
And I was filled with love, laughing warm tears of happiness and relief
That I could ever have thought that life was anything but this
That I could ever have forgotten that this was reality
That I could ever have become so engrossed in my incarnation to think that existence was anything other than this
