Toward our goal of celebrating each other we're scheduling a 24 hour distributed stream parade for new years day.
This one is not just music, there will be watch parties, premieres, hangouts, performances, discussions, djs, gaming and whatever else anyone wants to bring to the table.
Let's hang and drum up some interest for our casting friends and self powered streaming.

Any graphic or visual artists out there streaming on #owncast or #peertube keen to get in on the parade?
We have gaming, music perfomance, djs, coding, watch parties, showcases, poetry and spoken word.
Not a streamer or broadcaster and want to help on the day? We need some volunteers to help moderate and info desk and street team etc.

We are working on an event URL, in the interim please refer up this thread and the linked blog post for where we are at, the hows and what we need for the New Years Day 24 Global Stream Parade. RFF will be the lobby and info desk for the day.
DM or join the matrix if you want to participate or help in any way.
Comradery, entertainment, fun, agency 
and further we are keen for a mascot or some logo or some type of theming we could feature in/on the event lobby.
Anyone who had mentioned a possible special recorded pieces, audio only broadcast or simulcast, DM pls, still a few slots left.
And if you have material that might suit ( see thread and blog for details/rules) it would be good to have some bits on hand to fill gaps in the lobby should they arise.
