A grim timeline and a challenging platform gauntlet to navigate can certainly wear us down.
Yet a swell of non-competitive, organic, and celebratory community rallying percolates to help one another find and discover all our artistic and community voices.
Do mention any other inspiration and experience around rallying, discovery, connections, support etc.
Via the RFF streams, feeds, directories, events, blogs, and organic community of artists, friends and supporters I've:
I need your help on how and if RFF can continue with less of a bus scenario. I still simply cannot do all of the things. The proverbial whiteboard abounds more than spoons/"staff".
Do we still need a community fomenting experiment emphasising #agency, #consent and as direct as possible support for #artists?
Has the gauntlet been thrown down and we can twilight?
Do you still enjoy having such a rally, promotion and discovery layer in a diverse, intentional and labour intensive "radio" format?
There's increasingly more things out there that might be heaps easier to spray and walkaway albeit challenging for all to discover, manage, navigate.
Is having some unified advocacy and rally point still of value?
I've done almost all the things so differently and gratefully with #community resonance.
We need to throw down even harder to spread the ethos and organic community growth, diversity and durable participation toward sustaining and garnering more interest, or work on a sunset plan.
@radiofreefedi oh goodness me, I happen to think #radiofreefedi is bar none the BEST thing to spring from the fediverse. I see everything good barely hanging on & sunsetting in this world & I love that RFF is there. At the same time I cannot expect you to work full time for my pleasure. I myself am a creative artist who is mostly burned out. I let opportunities pass me by all the time because I can't muster the physical & psychic energy.
Thank you for your hard work!
