Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting sunset (h/t George Harrison), Hidden Lake, Fall Mountain, Plymouth, Connecticut. February 18, 2018, 5:44 PM. After a day of thawing, numerous holes in the ice reflect the pinks and golds of a sunset under a crescent moon.
When you ascend up from the last of the High Plains, and behold the first of the realm we call Cascadia. A capture from when it looks like you're really driving toward the final frontier, "Road to the Dream".

Soil transplants are being tested in #Yorkshire with earth from the ancient Hagg wood helping grow new trees.

A steep slope of bronzed bracken remained in deep shadow against a collection of backlit birch trees. A gentle fog was lifting creating atmospherics and bringing out the vibrancy of the golden leaves. I remember it was very important to me to include the entirety of the three slim branches in the top left corner of the composition — ultimately I think they add a lovely asymmetrical balance and depth to the photo.
