Having rediscovered my old voxel style by posting those works, I had fun creating this new isometric pixel art. 
Used #MagicaVoxel by @ephtracy for the voxel basis, then @PyDPainter for pixel refinements.

Aku ingat masa aku muda di #Semarang #Indonesia tahun 70an, iklan-iklan film di bioskop itu bukan cetakan, tapi lukisan. Gambar-gambar yang tampil di papan reklame di bioskop lokal itu dibuat oleh pelukis-pelukis lokal, menggunakan cat tahan air, di atas kain putih yang lumayan lebar.
Karena reklame itu digambar oleh artis-artis lokal, gambar yang tampil di atas poster itu sangatlah kreatif. Banyak gambar-gambar itu menampilkan wajah-wajah dan aksi-aksi yang tidak mirip tampilan di dalam film!
Yang lebih lucu lagi adalah apa yang terjadi setelah film itu selesai dimainkan. Spanduk reklame itu tidak dibuang, tapi diberikan untuk siapa saja yang mau mengambilnya. Banyak kanvas reklame itu menjadi kain tenda untuk warung-warung yang memenuhi jalan-jalan seluruh kota. Aku ingat sering makan nasi pindang dan soto ayam di bawah poster film Hindi yang tidak mirip sama sekali dengan isi layar filmnya.

This one was a kind of anthem for me for a long long time … until i realised that i chose things like “anthems” based on melody and rhythm rather than words … i choose my “anthems” more carefully now cos White Supremacy - why else …

Can it be called #nostalgia when you prefer something that was released a decade (or more) before you were born over something that was released two decades after?
I was born around the year 2000, and my childhood was in the early 2000s, but I agree with the argument that today's #music often lacks soul. Depending on my mood, I do listen to modern music, but for the past few weeks, I've really been feeling the music from my parents' early twenties.
