there are all sorts of things that i might say about myself, so let's see what's on offer:

these days i'm learning to #squareDance, got a plot in the local community #garden, and have joined #queer silent book club.

my life feels socially expansive as of recent.

i'm not by habit a "joiner", though i am coming to understand that perhaps that was due to not having the right things to join in on.

Was not expecting to solve a ~30 year old personal mystery today, but one of the two albums my elementary school Gym teacher used to make us dance to was definitely “Popcorn with Hot Butter”. Which has the versions of‘Popcorn’, ‘Apache’ and ‘Pipeline’ that have been living in my head these last several decades. The other one was a bunch of square dance calls. I have no hope of recognizing those out in the wild.

I would love to know the story behind why those two albums.
