2174. Manhattan, Terra.
Throngs of humans, tweaks, uplifts, and a scattering of xenos crowded the old city's venerable avenues as His Holiness Clement XIX led mass on Easter morning. This was Hank's first, and only time, visiting Terra and he was obliged by faith to make the pilgrimage.
After blessing two hundred thousand souls at the end of mass, Pope Clement declared a #jubilee, forgiving all of their sins as a testament to the smallest sliver of God's love.

“Why the JUBILATION?” Poe asked.

“Thousandth jubilee of Xiuhtecuhtli’s birth,” Castaneda said.

“Thousand years, spring chicken,” TM jumped in.

“No, 52,000. The thousandth JUBILEE.” Trap sprung, Castaneda’s smirk told a story.

TM mentally calculated (50X1,000=50,000), “Clever, but JUBILEE are 50-year celebrations.

“I figure you wouldn’t know, Xiuhmolpilli, the binding of years, which is 52 years.”

“You got us, trickster,” Raven said.

“Raven, how old are you?” Castaneda asked.

“Not created yet in 1500AD. Born 1845. Ccreee—see—cree.” Raven’s equivalent to a smirk. Trap sprung.

“TM?” Castaneda asked.

“Old as poetry in the hills.” His eye dials jiggled in mirth.

Part of the interior of St Paul Ouside the Walls Basilica in Rome Italy. Enormous marble columns and beautiful gold mosaics. Above the door and over the columns on the right are some of the portraits of past popes.

Martin Luther, early Lutheran, considers grace. Christ acted kindly to us, unworthy, by giving us mercy. Thus we should give kind service to unworthy neighbors.

Today, unworthiness is an excuse for everything from walling off these people, to using harsh language and mockery to convert them.

How can you A) consider your own unworthiness and B) exert kindness to unworthy people today?

Joel Rockwell, Presbyterian minister, writes on the life of a sailor. He says that if a sailor given a good home, they may be able to bring as spiritual treasures to other lands.

In contrast, if a sailor continually loses his money to “pest houses of crime and vice”, they will be mired in immoral practices and demoralizing influences. They will take this with them as well to every new port.

What do you bring with you?
