Bad #DM ideas: magic items with slight misspellings relevant to their function.

Ring of acommodation: Makes a commode (not necessarily functional) appear within 10 feet

Staff of lightening: Makes the surrounding space slightly brighter or reduces the weight of any one object by 2%

Scroll of Adress Discovery: Will guide the party to the nearest seamstress' workshop or women's clothing store

Spell - Make Object Changable: Turns an object into Señor Chang for 5 minutes

Curse of Loosing: Makes clothing saggy, knots come undone

Spell - Inflict Principle Damage: The target realizes at least one of their moral convictions is based on faulty assumptions

Spell - Kill Principle Fighter: The fighter most driven by a moral concept dies

Scroll of Advancing in Que: Instead of moving forward in a line of people, the caster begins to say "¿qué?" with increasing conviction and vocal skill

Spell - Holier Then Thou: Caster first becomes 10% more Celestial, then becomes a doppelgänger of the person they tried to cast this on

Pretty sure "worry" in the time and context of the original song meant "cheat on one's romantic partner," so Worried Man Blues is about a man who has everything except the exclusive love of his gf/wife.

Logically, then, the woman should sing her "This little light" parts as if sharing her "light" meant sharing her affections and body with other men, gleefully and cheerfully. Lots of flirting. Salaciousness. Spice.

Worried man, merry woman.

Revealed: How the UK tech secretary uses ChatGPT for policy advice
New Scientist has used freedom of information laws to obtain the ChatGPT records of Peter Kyle, the UK's technology secretary, in what is believed to be a world-first use of such legislation
From https://www.newscientist.com/article/2472068-revealed-how-the-uk-tech-secretary-uses-chatgpt-for-policy-advice/
These records show that Kyle asked ChatGPT to explain why the UK’s small and medium business (SMB) community has been so slow to adopt AI. ChatGPT returned a 10-point list of problems hindering adoption, including sections on “Limited Awareness and Understanding”, “Regulatory and Ethical Concerns” and “Lack of Government or Institutional Support”.
Apparently it didn't say "because it's unhelpful and probably harmful to most SMB problems" or "what on earth are you doing asking a computer this you fool?".

Hot off the press of #ExtremelyGoodIdeas : now presenting my newest package no-more-imports : git.jon-e.net/jonny/no-more-im

importing code is simply beneath you, you are a sacred energy being who does not need to be bothered with typing the word import at the top of your module. Well now with no-more-imports, you've got a companion that will dynamically modify the AST of your code and bust across interpreter frames to make sure you never have to touch any of that fuck shit package infrastructure ever again.

Available now at a pypi near you: pypi.org/project/no-more-impor

Last year my mom (who you must understand is a retired math prof and very persistent) started bugging me about wanting to learn about bitcoin.

I had some left over (about 0.03 BTC which was like $200) from a long time ago and was able to use a little php program running in thony on my macbook to generate some wallets. I made her a wallet.

Recently I sold all her toy bitcoin. Executive decision. It was absurdly high again. I'm feeling smug about this... for now.

Who the hell puts this into a CSS reset? They're supposed to reset your CSS to *sensible defaults*, not to *nothing*.

h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6 {
font-size: inherit;
font-weight: inherit
}
a {
color: inherit;
text-decoration: inherit
}
blockquote, dd, dl, figure, h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6, hr, p, pre {
margin: 0
}

Grrrrr. Bad practice! Bad! Go stand in the corner!😠
